Amber van Rangelrooij

With her brand Aesthetic Studios, Amber van Rangelrooij plays with people’s imagination. You could call her work conceptual. But then the concept would be more important than aesthetic or material-technical considerations. For her, besides the idea, the execution also counts. She wants to unsettle people and then you have to be convincing on all fronts. Can she challenge rules in the art context with an intervention that is disruptive but looks quite innocent at first sight?
