Cleo Veldman
In her work, which comprises multiple forms, Cleo Veldman (The Netherlands, 1994) explores society focusing on the relationship between the mainstream and outsiders. She enjoys creating new human forms through distorted interactions. She makes masks that turn herself and other people into characters. In so doing, she examines how far she can push personal limits and interpersonal boundaries. Veldman wishes to suck the viewer in her transformative exploration of identities’ construction, while reflecting on all the multiple versions of beings.
