Derk Müller

Derk Müller (1995) is born and raised in Winterswijk, the Netherlands. Currently living and working in Arnhem.

His art explores the intersection of the everyday world and critical perspectives. Through his work, he seeks to inspire viewers to question their surroundings and the behaviors they take for granted. His artistic process is deliberate and focused, resulting in works that are both thought-provoking and visually striking.
Working across a variety of media and techniques, Derk creates intricate and detailed sculptures and installations that invite the viewer to engage with the work on multiple levels. His focus on objects and spatial relationships allows him to create works that are both abstract and grounded in the physical world.
Derk’s work is consistently both poetic and critical. By leaving no medium unexplored, he is able to create works that challenge and inspire viewers, revealing the essence of the world around us.

Derk graduated in 2019, he studied Base for Experiment, Art and Research (Fine Art) at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem.
