Tom van Veen

He has exhibited at various places, such as the Royal Palace Amsterdam for the nomination of the Royal Award for Modern Painting, Centraal Museum, De Balie, het HEM and an collaboration with Museum Boijmans & Van Beuningen X The New Originals. His writing has been published by Mister Motley Magazine.

The outcome of his practice arises in several mediums; performance, painting, narrative texts and sculpture/decor. At the moment this results in a test for costumes. A recurring theme features contemporary icons, collective memory and the interconnectedness. In an interplay of certain colors showing a harsh light that absorbs everything and fades certain shades.
