Initiator and gallery owner of Galerie SANAA since 2009. I traded a career in internationalization for developing Galerie SANAA. SANAA shows contemporary art by young and established artists from Africa, the Netherlands and the Middle East, and creates cross-disciplinary duo-or group exhibitions. Layered art – dynamic, diverse and hybrid highlighted in exhibitions ( 6 to 8 per year), debate and artist-talks.
Over the years I did collaborate a lot with young artists to make a good show/presentation in the gallery. I also enjoy making exhibition presentations in a variety of locations, to develop site-specific presentations that entices the visitor. The Werkspoor Cathedral is an exciting place to work with artists on a succesful methamorphosis of the space to present the work in the best possible way.
